In order to change the perception of the character, she walked on the Gear cover in a partially dressed. Jessica's actions caused a lot of controversy amongst her fans. Her appearance in the 6th season brought her out of 7th Heaven. The film Ulee's Gold and her outstanding performance as a teenager in Casey Jackson brought instant fame to her. Actually, the film was awarded her the Best Supporting New Actress. Summer Catch is a great demonstration of her ability. Her movie Rules of Attraction did not achieve much success despite her outstanding performance. The horror film The Texas Chainshaw Massacre brought her to the notice of the public. She's also featured in suspenseful film and proven herself to be an actor.
